Guaging interest... 1996 ProCharged Cobra
I'm trying to make one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. As much as I hate to do it... I need to sell my Cobra. Those that know me, know that, aside from my family, this car has been my pride and joy for years. I figured I'd post here first, to see what kind of response I'd get before it goes on Ebay and other Mustang sites. I bought the car in October of 1999. It only had 20k on the odometer. The motor was never blown up, but I had True Blue Performance rebuild the motor winter of '04. They added forged rods and pistons and an intercooled ProCharger P1SC. Ed Clark (SCT tuning guru) tuned the car in early Summer '04 and it has performed without a flaw since. It made 430 rwhp and has much, much more potential. With the addition of water/methanol it would make near 500 rwhp on the present tune with the stock heads and cams. A lot of you have seen me at shows and at Mustang Week. Here are some pics and a short list of mods.
1996 Crystal White SVT Cobra #3623 Motor: Built by True Blue Performance (www.trueblueperformance.com) Stock heads and cams Stock crank Eagle H-beam rods CP dished pistons JetHot coated valve covers BBK twin 65mm throttle body Chromed intake Canton roadrace oil pan Fluidyne 3-core radiator Power adder: ProCharger P1SC (polished) w/ air-to-air intercooler (10psi) Exhaust: BBK longtubes, Mac offroad h-pipe (also have BBK catted X), Dynomax Ultraflow (flowthrough) mufflers Clutch: 99 Cobra clutch and flywheel Rearend: Moser 31-spline axles w/ TracTech differential and 4:10 gears Suspension: D&D upper/lower control arms, Tokico "blue" shocks and struts, Eibach ProKit springs, also HPM subframes (welded), Wheels: Ford Racing Chrome 2000 Cobra R (18 x 9.5) Tires: Kumho 275-35-18 (need replacing) Others stuff: Autometer boost, oil pressure, fuel pressure and temp gauges; Steeda Tri-Ax shifter; Steeda swaybar, Boost-A-Spark, etc... Watch and listen to it run! video I have invested a LOT of $ into the car. It has NEVER made a pass down a dragstip, although it has seen several outings on regional road coarses. Oh yeah, it has 114k on the odometer and almost 13k miles on the new motor. I'm asking $16,500 obo. If interested, please e-mail me at brad96cobra@nc.rr.com Serious inquiries only.

Thanks for the kind words John! I hope it sells quick, because it hurts like hell to see it go. If I don't see any response here in the next day or so, I'm going to begin posting it elsewhere.

I've had a couple of bites on the car and wanted to bump this to the top and give someone a chance to make a better offer than I've previously recieved.
