What trans should I go with

Im looking at a TKO 600 or a c4 i just dont know what way is the best way to go. Im pushing 500 RWHP so I need to know what trans if the best for each. thanks for the help. I need to do something fast i blow the stock on out over the weekend.

Another option is the G-force rebuild kit for the T-5's. They use the T-5 case & put all new innards, new gear sets & such.
Just a sugestion.

Really it depends on if you want overdrive or not. They do make real good AOD parts now.

If you drive it a lot I wouldnt go with the c-4. They are great for drag racing but that is about it, been there done that

thanks for your help i have been talking to others also and they say the TKO 600 is the way to go to still have a street car i dont drive it much but i do like to play when i drive it. now i just need to find some were to get one.

Kinda off subject , but how do you like your spec clutch? Is it holding well? I making close to that hp and need a clutch. Thanks!

a friend of mine has a tremec 3550 that you could prob. get a pretty good deal on if you are interested. if so let me know and I will get you a price. the spec clutches are the bomb. I have had a couple of them in different cars and have no complaints. btw I am a dealer for spec so let me know and I can get you a deal on one.

I love my spec clutch. I have the stage 3 in my car and its great a little hard at first to get use to. But after a little bit it was alsome. Im looking in to the t56 trans right now out of a viper i have a friend that has one so i may go that way. thanks for you help and i will keep you in mind of the t56 does not work out.
