2007 SCMC Track Events

OK Trackheads

We have one last club event at Houston MSR Nov. 11-12.

Then we go into that dreaded period of track withdrawal with only our in car videos and racing sim games to act as fake fixes.

But here is hope that you can put on your calendar or just check the SVT Forum Calendar!

The club has scheduled the following track events for 2007

CMP March 10-11
Spring Drag Day Mar. 24
VIR June 30 - July 1
Gingerman September 15-16
Fall Drag Day Nov 10 and then
THE SVT COBRA NATIONALS at Houston MSR November 10-11

wheres all the strait line stuff? I dont know about this turing the wheel thing, well except at the end of the track to get my time slips.

Gingerman is already a definate!

now I'm going to put VIR on the calendar! thats the same weekend that I was down there for the SAAC event this year, on the north course....

has anyone been on the south course? how is it?

Let's see...I'm going to CMP = 50 miles
VIR = 240 miles
Gingerman = 850 miles
and MSR 1200 miles.

If I can do it, so can everyone else.

I'll also be there, already got the rear-end apart and bringing it to Rick to have him fix it sometime this week.............I WILL make a few passes in Feb.

I apologize for the confusion...the new date for the Spring Drag Day is

March 24, 2007

and the Fall date is

November 10, 2007

I had the date changed for a couple of reasons; we have had cold, wet, snowy, days in February and we always take a chance with that. By making it 4 weeks later we reduce that chance of snow and the weather is still usually cool. This will allow you an extra 4 weeks to get your snake ready.

I've been working on the SCMC News to send out to the club this week (For three days now because I've just been beat with work). I'll let everyone know about the date change. Thanks!

sure thing. should have clutch replaced soon so maybe I might be able to shift (if my driver ever gets his act togther) and hopefully some more mods (read, if I win the lottery)
