well here they are....let me know what ya'll think

i actually had to wet sand the entire inner rim with my dads help on the front 2 and i did the back 2 and it took me about 6hrs to do just the back 2. the aircraft remover works to get the top layer off. though if you want to do this to 01 rims like mine get the tal strip 2 aircraft remover from advanced auto parts it makes the coating blister more than just regular aircraft remover(both will work though). and note i think that the 03-04 cobra rims are different because im sure red04svtcobra didnt have to wet sand his. it might just be the 99-01 model rims

Looks like a lot of work... but you did a good job They look really well

The reason for you having to wetsand and use some elbow grease instead of just stripping and cleaning them is because the optional wheels for the 01 Cobra's were polished, and then clearcoated whereas the rims on the 03/04 Cobra's were chromed. Ford probably didn't think it was too important to make sure the insides of the polished 01 rims would be shiney

I remember when I had my 01 vert... I had the wheels stripped of their clearcoat and repolished by someone local in town. They really stood out when he got done with them... but I'll never miss the upkeep I had to do to keep them looking that way

A few bolt-on's, a black supercharger and some boost...
The replacement for displacement has "Whipple" cast into it.

Chuck Norris built my Cobra. It runs off the tears of small children and makes 10,000 horsepower. He calls it his "street version."
