Question Open or closed face helmets?

Anyone have preferences when drag racing?

closed. just think about if something happened and your face smashed against whatever. always good to have that extra protection.

Which ever helmet you decide, make sure it has the proper snell rating for drag racing. I have open face helmet but may be out of date this year.

My preference for drag racing is an open face. Gets pretty hot in a full helmet in a closed coupe, and its more convenient to get on/off in staging lanes.
