Question Octane Boost Brand?

Anyone recommend a brand of octane boost when drag racing on 93 octane?

Cant go wrong with torco

Most other octane boosters are bogus they generally will add like .7 or so octane rather than actual octane points.

I also used NOS brand. I did not have issues but I can't say how much it helped since I was at a road course...car ran fine, though.

Thanks, I've heard good results from Torco. Not too familiar with the other. Happy Racing!

Torco.. Most octane boosters will clame 10 points of a octane. this is .10 of a octane number. so running 91 plus octane boost is 91.1 octane. most boosters are just a scam. NOS Off-Road booster I think is just 5 or 6 numbers. Run Torco or even better find a local gas staion that has 100 plus octane. Remember, if you dont have a tune for the higher octane your more than likely waisting your money.

As above, Torco, or more readily available, the NOS Race formula. There is info out there on this one.

Definitely would go with racing gas (usually very available at most strips) vs. octane booster, esp. with the #'s you're making... cheap insurance, though if you have a real conservative tune, you can get away with staight 93.
