How many people have had their GT 500's converted?

Just wondering if any Super Snake owners to be have had their Shelby converted yet?

We have a club member who is getting his done, too. I was just wondering if anyone has actually gotten their Shelby converted yet.

Make mine Vista Blue with white stripes.

NOT THIS ONE! THIS ONE STAYS STOCK........for the most part.

I'm not real happy with the exhaust note on it now...NONE so an axle back system, cold air, and tune will go on it but no SS conversion. I have one of those!

IN FACT since I purchased this one I'm considering doing a couple of things to the '01 to get her over 700 rwhp. That should make that little 4.6 pretty unique!

There is a Shelby upgrade to a Super Snake. You send your car to Vegas and they do the "CONVERSION".

Last time I was out there (January) , the Shelby shop at the LV Speedway had 100 or more (I didn't really count them) sitting there, ready to be done.

What a beautiful sight!

With the Axle Back, CAI and a Tune other than Factory, albeit your GT500 won't be Houston Stock, it won't be Factory Stock as well.

Dignifying it with a rumble and having it looking nicer under the hood, is not a bad thing.

Edit:

I was No. 750 on the List for a Super Snake Conversion, but in being a pre-producttion car, I chose not to.

There is a recent Thread under the Shelby GT500 Forum on SVTPerformance.com detailing a person in Florida having their car returned with the SS Package on it.
