Long Tube Headers?

So I am now shoping for LT's for 03 Cobra... I called LightningForcePerformance and they told me the best bang for my buck and the most popular was the BBK LT's...

Now when I had my fox bodys.. years back BBK was know for junk.... have they improved? I have done some research and found a few cobras pushing some good power running these.. Also are they made so you can replace the clutch with out pulling the passanger side header like the SLP?

Any help would be great.. paying for a wedding so the budjet is tight.

I have BBK LT headers and was very pleased. It added some horsepower & torque, but really helped the throttle response. The car is pretty quiet normally, but when you hit wot the exhaust really opens up.

BBK's work nicely, but we found MAC's had a little better fitment...Also, take a look at American Racing Headers...they are a little more expensive, but have shown a little larger gain

as torry said BBKs are nice.that is what I had. the coated ones will rust though over time. If noise is not a problem get the off road X.

Thanks for the info. most people I have talked to said they had no issues with the BBK but we will see.... Now here is the part that throws me off.. Bassani Mid length headers.... Power? or no power? I have heard both.

InfamousSVT on here had them and I believe he constantly had problems with them leaking...not sure what kind of gains he saw, but I do know that most LT's will show a 25-30rwhp gain

Think I am going to bite the bullet and just go with the American racing LT's with highflow x-pipe.

I've been running Kooks on the '01 for a number of years now with NO issues....for what it's worth.
