Its been a while but back with even more HP! PICS!!!

Just wanted to stop by and say Hi, havent had the cobra for awhile but will be picking it up next week from the shop.

Had the piston slap and decided just to drop the ball...

4340 'H' or 'I' beam rods with ARP cap-screw bolts
Diamond piston upgrade with valve reliefs for 4V heads
File-fit 'Moly' rings
Taperwall tool steel wrist pins
'Race series' main & rod bearings
ARP 2000 Main Studs
Fully built, machined, balanced, & blueprinted
ARP Head Studs
MLS Head Gaskets

Ford GT Cams with Comp Valve springs
Meizer Electric Water pump
upgraded alternator

I am sure there is a bit more that I missed but you can get the idea.
I also ordered the Polished Whipple 2.3L with both street pulley and race pulley.

American Racing Long tube headers (3 inch collector) with x pipe. Dynomax Ultraflow exhaust (Full 3 inch from Headers back)

Upgrade to a 26 spline input shaft and new clutch.

60# fuel injectors and Kenny bell boost a pump.

SLP Line Lock
Billetflow IRS Brace

Couple exhaust pics:

Now down to the nitty gritty.. Dyno Numbers....

Race Tune with 100 Octane and 22PSI 681 RWHP - 666 RWTQ

Street Tune with 91 Octane and 15PSI 604 RWHP - 548 RWTQ

http://s68.photobucket.com/albums/i2...t=P2181280.flv

This is the break down from the Tuner..

On the pump gas tune the car made 15 psi right on the hit, (as soon as you go WOT), and then bled down to 14 psi by the end of the pull, (peak HP). This is very common for Whipples. On the race gas tune the car made 22 psi on the hit and then bled to 19 psi by the end of the pull. Again, common for whipples at this level.

So, the correct posting would say that the car made;

681 RWHP @ 19 psi on race fuel

and

604 RWHP @ 14 psi on pump gas

At peak TQ the car was in fact making the boost Craig posted, 22 psi on race fuel and 15 on pump.

very impressive looking motor. did you sand and paint your valve covers yourself or did you pick them up already done? that picture makes me kick myself for not doing mine when I had my top end off installing the GenII.

I had the valve covers sent out to be powder coated to match the Blue Billetflow idler pulleys.
