engine

looking for a motor for my 96?blew the headgaskets lol...anyone out there

ya its sucks just got this car a month ago..ok about the rebuild i would like to make some power out of this car since it broken now and these cars got aluminium blocks ,,i would like to put a supercharger and other goodies on it looking to make about 500 to 600 hp and the wheels and i have talked to a couple guys and there telling me to put a iron block in it not to use the one i got in it now any thoughts on this?

You have the coveted Teksid aluminum block in your Cobra. It has been used successfully in applications up to 1600 horsepower.
If 600 horsepower is your goal I'm sure you know the hyper plastic pistons need to be replaced along with the rods.
You have a steel crankshaft that will work just fine.
