BangaStang Radiator Covers

I'm sure some have seen their 1-piece covers. I'm looking to have them make one for those of us that have added the larger C&R radiator. All covers now have that u-shape on top of the radiator - from the mount on one side to the other. Once you replace the stock radiator with the larger one - it exposes the radiator top again. BangaStang will create a new mold for us - and do a discount for group buy if I can get 10 or more units. The new mold would essentially remove that u-shape and take the cover from the left side to right seamlessly. He'll do this for $499 shipped - painted and cleared in your color with stripes.

Here are a couple shots - one of the new 40th cover he's created that I want for my car, but with that u-shape removed...

I want him to create the new mold so my larger radiator is covered. See how it's exposed now...there's another 1 1/2" to cover...

More examples of their work with a stock radiator and C&L CAI...

So do we have 10 guys with the new cooling kit that want to finish off the engine compartment?

I exchanged email with Hendrix from BangaStang. He says the guy that makes his molds now wants 20 units. I don't know how serious he is about making this. I think it would help if folks other than me contact him directly and tell him he really should have this as an option. Know I'm not in the business of sellng units for him. Though I did give him an idea on how to sell more. He needs some further encouragement.

For me, I'm just in love with power so just a JLT and a axleback with a tune. Maybe the sequential turn signals and a little lower but that's all I'll be doing to mine.

If you make me up some sort of advertisement for the newsletter, I'll be glad to add it in there but it's almost finished and should be this weekend.

FYI ALL - I'm going to retract this request. After further inspection of an ACTUAL BangaStang cover on the C&R radiator - making a new larger version is really unnecessary. The BangaStang cover as it is already covers much of the larger radiator. Looking at my C&R radiator with a cover that has stock dimensions - is not a good comparison to the BangaStang cover.
