I have seen this before, but landon and I had to watch it again. Simply awesome!

This story reminds me a lot of my Father In law. The stories from that era are awesome, that is when you can get him to tell them to us. Most service men from then do not talk much about the war, which is a shame.

We need to thank God and every service member, especially from the WW2 generation for the freedoms we have today.

I have been wanting to talk to my grandfather for several years now about his experience in WWII, but am 1) afraid to ask, 2) never have enough time with him when I go to Ohio for a visit, 3) don't want to bring up any bad memories for him.

I think when I go up there this year I will approach him about it and record it to share with the rest of my family.
