Cool 1995 SVT COBRA 5.0 2 Top Mustang

1995 SVT Cobra Convertible with Factory Hardtop Option

Also Known as the 2 Top Mustang

What you are bidding on is a used 1995 SVT Cobra 5.0 Mustang Convertible with a Removable Hardtop. This car has been well maintained and has been garage kept. It has just had installed a brand new FORD Factory hand built SVT Cobra Long Block (NEW NOT REBUILT) Engine installed in it. The Engine has 40 miles on it and carries a 3 year 100,000.00 mile warranty from Ford. The car itself has 100993 miles on it. So what you are bidding on has a warranty on the engine only. I have the original Ford Factory Window Sticker, Original Cart for the Hardtop and Certificate of Authenticity from FORD SVT Stating Build and Production Number, Original Bill of Sale and other assorted paper work.

  • 2 Black carpeted removable rear package tray covers that attach behind the rear seat to cover the convertible top when it is retracted.
  • 1 Black torno cover to install over the rear of the car when the convertible top is down.

In 1995 FORD Produced: 1003 Cobra Convertible Units (including 499 with removable hardtops). This car is # 53 in the production of the 499. Top Speed: 140 MPH 0-60 MPH: 6.3 seconds . The 1995 model was actually the last model that would have the 5.0L as the 96 SVT was built on a 4.6L.


1995 SVT Mustang Cobra Production Information

In 1995, the convertible SVT Cobra had a standard production. All were black in color with Saddle leather interior. Available on the convertible this year and model only, was the removable hardtop. The removable hardtop was an $1,825 option which 499 came with. These removable hardtops were originally produced from Ford , are no longer available and parts from the dealer are non existent.

Out of all the SVT Mustang Cobras if I had to pick one this would be it. I even like these better than the Mystic but only because it is a vert. My ideal Cobra would be a '95 2-top with a saddle soft top and the body and hardtop in Mystic!!

Thanks Buddy! I have 2 of these cars # 404 and #53 and the Wife wants to sell this one because we just purchased a 2007 Shelby GT 500 and one of the pony's has to go !
