Track Dawgs Attack
Reading my October MMFF magazine and I see pictures with comments about two of our own Track Dawgs running at Sebring International Raceway. Comments ready - Ripping through a corner is James Bonden of Spring, Texas, in his tweaked '99 Cobra. Another Texan, Larry Ewers, did a fine job in the Advanced Group in his '95 GT.

Sebring was a blast!!!
This is a MUST-DO event for all track dawgs. Larry and I are definately planning for this one again next year. The history you are surrounded by was incredible. The Hotel/Resort was literally overlooking turns 7,8 & 9 and had a Panoz race car in the main lobby as decoration. I'm sure the reason Larry and I made the article was that we met and helped out Evan Smith, the Editor of MMFF when he stripped a lug nut on the 2011 Steeda Sport he was given to drive. He came over to our table a couple of times during the banquet and thanked us again. There we a ton of FAST cars there and this is the event that convinced us both that Cool-Suits were in our future. BTW - I won a set of NT-01's at the banquet We're headed for Road Atlanta in November (another "Bucket-List" track for me) - hitch up the ole hot rod and join us -the more Texans, the better TALLY HO

I just received mine and noticed you guys and the article as well. Good stuff! Glad to see you guys representing the SCMC out there with Lacina and company.
Jim, congrats on winning the NT01's! I have a set and love them! Other than full out slicks, these are THE best track tires I have ever bought! I went out at TWS with mine when they were brand new and I was amazed at the level of grip right from the first lap. Once I got them hot, they were sticking almost as good as my Hoosiers!

I have to agree with everything that Jim said about the trip. It was great. Stepping out on the balcony of your room and looking over the track was wonderful. My track car is a Cobra not a GT, but that's O.K.. I won a set of two piece rotors. You need to ask Jim who drew the winning ticket for his set of tires. It's a good story.
