New Member!! please help!

hello..this is my first post. i just recieved both underdrive pullies and timing adjustor from steeda. I have not yet tried to install either one. i was browsing through this site and notice that most people only have underdrive pullies with out the timing adjustor! why is that?? are they not benefitial on 01 cobras?
please let me know!!

From what I have notcied, its either because people just havent bought the timing adjuster yet or they have a chip, which adjusts the timing as well. There shouldnt be a problem using the timing adjuster. If I'm wrong, I hope someone chimes in and lets us know!

More than likely they just haven't purchased one yet. Underdrives free up rotational/friction HP loss that is occurring from the accessories being driven by the engine. The timing adjuster allows you to advance or retard your timing, something the older 5.0 guys can do for free Advancing the timing will give you a little more lowend punch/response.

Put on both on.....hit a dyno with a wide-band so that you can see power gains and A/F ratios.... Most people seem to have better gains with 12 or 14 on the timing adjuster so it's something you'll have to test.
