chassis stiffening with side exit exhaust

Hey guys. I am in need of some help with my 94 Cobra. I have side exit exhaust (SVO Style), and no readily apparent way to run subframes.....I have wrinkles in the roof from body twist that continue to grow, and have already added a strut tower brace. Any suggestions as to what I can do to help hold the body straight? Thanks in advance.

Some one makes a sub frame that will clear side exhaust, if I remember correctly it was Griggs, not positive.
You could always notch and box in the sub frame connectors where the side exhaust goes across, I have seen someone who had is done. A muffler shop or fab shop that does roll bars & cages should be able to help.

Give Kenny Brown a call. I called them a few months ago and asked if there was any kind of Sub framce connector that I could use with the side exhaust. They said they have one that would work. Also, Spintech makes a set that will work. There may be more, but these are all I know of.

The problem with subframes is the exhaust clearance.
(granted this is my custom job)

One way to fix this is to do thru-the-floor subframes, which is what I did this past winter.

The other alternative is to get the "stepped" subframes, where the subframe is 2-pieces "stacked" on top of each other, where the pipe goes. Dont have a photo handy of that.
