Small fractures in front rotor surface after weekend at CMP.

I had a blast at CMP with THSCC this past weekend but noticed some small surface fractures on my rotors and wondered if they are done in? The brakes held up well all weekend on PFCZs but I noticed the pads starting to chunk after my last two sessions on Sunday. I know its time for some cooling ducts soon.

I have to borrow a digital for pics but I might be able to do that.

Thanks John! Its hard to switch from autox to open track but my instructor helped me alot this weekend. She also asked that I install something for my next instructor to hold onto since the door panels are gone.

During downtime this winter I am installing an autopower roll bar and harness equipment for both seats.

I found a thread on corner carvers that has a picture of much more severe fractures than what I picked up at CMP.

I hear ya on the cooling ducts, I'm doing them this winter after boiling my fluid and melting the boots on my tie rod ends

I found some urethane dust covers for my tie rod ends after I caught mine on fire earlier this year.

Carolina Mustang in Cary, NC. Its right down the street from work. I can call them and ask who makes them if you want.

The dust covers I put on the tie rod ends were made by Energy.
