Want to get rid of these in houston so I'll post it here.

I have a set of really nice '96 Cobra rims with Nitto 555's I was going to put on the coupe but the motor is draining me!

Make me an offer on these! the tires actually have decent tread on them and these wheels would make killer track wheels.

Make me an offer, you might be suprised!

here you go Carl.

only problem is that these are 8in. wide wheels and the stock 03's are 9. The recommended tire size for the 8in. is a 245, whereas the 9in. is 275. So you would have to get skinnier tires put on unless you want to risk putting 275's on (which are not recommended for the twisities due to excessive sidewall heat from the improper sizing)

Actually Ford put 255's on the 94-95 Cobra rims, then went down to 245's.

Just a little FYI from my SVT Recognition Guide.

well, yeah, that is some addition info..and I am aware of the 94-95 specs, but I don't think it really applies to either the 03 or the 96 since they are not a 94-95 Cobra, and are calibrated for 25.6in. diameter tires which equate to either a 275/40ZR-17 or a 245/45ZR-17, not a 255/45ZR17 of a 94-95 Cobra which came with the Goodyear Eagle tires that were 26.1in in diameter, as small as that difference in factory spec may be.. In keeping with the 1996 specs of 245 vs. 03 specs of 275, the 96 wheels supports a tire that has a contact patch that is 9.5in. wide vs. the 03 which supports a tire that has a contact patch which is 10.9in. wide. Even if you did go with the 94-95 Cobra spec and stuck a 255/45ZR-17 on there (which coincidentally still bows the sidewall as the 255 ideal wheel size is 8.5in., not 8in.) the 255 contact patch is only 10in. wide, which is still about 1in. smaller than what the 03 Cobra came with.
