New addition to our Family this weekend!

This is our newest daughter. Some of you may know we had a Rotty about 8 months ago but her Hip Displacia(SP) was soo bad we had to put her to sleep. It really broke Kathy up and ever since she has wanted another one of her very own.( "Tess" was more mine, since she liked coming out in the garage and coming to the track)

well on our way home this weekend one of our neighbors who has 2 very nice rotts ( hip problem free 8 gen. back( very rare)) has a sign out in the street that she has rotts for sale. we took the sign and drove over and this is what we found, neadless to say Kathy fell in love and Joey was not getting any sleep tonight.

Well, Here she is, and since we haven't found a name for our new girl, if you can think of any they are appreciated!

Edit: Since These are too big to uplaod here, here is a link-

Sorry to hear about the dog. My Golden has HD and we replaced one of his hips about 5 years ago, and he's running around just fine. He has HD in the other hip too, but it's not as bad. Don't even want to think about when he gets older and how bad it will be. Anyway, we also used to have a rott a while back (we were a foster home until we found him another, rescued him from a bad situation) and his name was Rocky. I guess that wouldn't fit a girlie dog though
Good luck with the naming process.

our other Rott (Tess) her hip bone never formed at all, so her left leg was just floating around and not attached to anything.

they couldn't gaurentee me that she'd live pain free due to the hip if we had a hip replacement done. She was 6 months old and I din't want her to suffer anymore or go through life suffering just so we could have her around.

It hurt alot, but now we have another new Love! we will always Miss our Tess, but we have a picture of her in the dinning room with her paw print!

Awwww...WOOF! Name her "Stay!" That way no matter whether she "comes" or "stays" when called she'll get it right.

Larry had a duck named "Askim." Drove the blondes wild. "OK...what's your name little duckie?"

Congrats on your new addition! Dogs are SO SPECIAL!
It will be a year this month that I lost my first baby.
But, she died in my arms after I gave her mouth to mouth, after she died the first time, and i wont ever regret it, or forget it!
