One of the Grand Am guys told me one time that their cars have to be updated to within 3 or 4 years(I can't remember exactly) of the current model. This being said, my vote is the old body for this coming year.

I would think Ford would want the new body style but..... It would be cool to see the new body running in '05.

Probably depends on the team. I wouldn't be suprised to see an 05 somewhere in the bunch. Those cars are awesome!

The motor approved was the "Cammer" motor. Looks like Ford will make some noise next year.

Drool, then sigh. I hope we see some of the 05 Mustangs near the front of the GAC fields soon.

While I'd love to say I could go GAC racing in a few years (that Steeda pic is killing me) I can't even begin to imagine the huge pile of cash that would be involved. Yeah, I know, you gotta have sponsors.

Realistically, could the car be built for $35K? (If not, what would be the ballpark price?) Take a BIW, then add the cammer motor, the safety stuff, tires/wheels and then the suspension/drivetrain and how much does it all add up to before the car gets on the track for the first time?

Just whining out loud, again........
