Exhaust problems :( Please help

Hey everybody,

I had a bassani o/r x-pipe and catback installed. Will for some reason my car did not like the x-pipe. For some reason it would rattle so bad you thought it was going to fall off. We tried new mufflers and a new x-pipe, hoping it was a faulty piece. Nothing made it go away. Besides the stock h-pipe.

So I went with a Mac o/r prochamber. Problem solved. But now my exhaust sounds like crap with the bassani catback. So now I'm looking for a better sounding catback. I was thinking either borla stingers or slp loudmouth. Which one do you guys think will sound more throaty and have the "burble" but also be LOUD.

This rattle and x-pipe thing went on for about 8-10 weeks. The shop has been great, not charging me for any of the labor, or charging me for any of the shipping. Bassani, on the other hand...well lets just say not to happy with them right now.

I've been to mustang exhaust, but want some suggestions or first hand experiences.

Thanks in advance, and for hanging in there and reading all that.

I personally never heard the bassani catback with a prochamber. I sent ya a PM, and I'm going to post this vid so you can get an idea of what the prochamber and stingers sound like.

to be honest with you, one of the BEST muscle car sound combo's I have ever heard (IMO) was the MAC Prochamber and 2 chamber flows

and here it is..... This one is just a little drive around. It'll give you a better idea of what it sounds like when you're not hammering the gas.

I'm sure it will sound very similar. I honestly believe it will sound a little better. It will sound different under load, but it should be almost identical just driving around.

Smashedheadcat,

Wow, you can really hear it alot better in the second video. That even sounds better than the first one. Now I have to save up a little more money to get a new catback, I wasn't planning on spending $250, for another midpipe. Then to find out what I can get the stinger catback for.

Jeff
