Rain Problems with CAI's?

I have just installed a K&N FIPK on my 03. I am concerned with driving it in the rain. Has anyone had any problems with water getting to the filter?

I don't think you should have any problems with rain! The only problem is heavy puddles that may cause splash up into the filter! Hope this helps, maybe someone else can jump in and give you some pointers!

With the K&N you would need about 3-4 feet of water to cause a problem.
Water getting through the hood in rain is no big deal at all.

Doesn't it also depend on where you install it? I have been told that you shouldn't drive in heavy rain if your CAI is installed in your fenderwell.

I am sure that one of the reasons it's oiled is to repel water.
