Lightning trucks

I saw a truck today which really got my attention. A Lightning F150 from about the same year as John Pearson's. It was spotless, white, with a license plate "MOONSHINE".

That would be a Gen 1. I think that they made them in '94 and '95. They were quite the truck then. Some people think that they would make a better road course truck that the Gen 2's because of the frame. Here are a coupl;e of pic of my GenII.

I've had both a 95 and a 00. Unless you do alot of work on the 95 the 99 and up handle alot better with much more power. The 00 i had handled great for a stock truck.
