Noob Race Questions

Is the AV8SS a NASA sponsored race series? If so, what is the difference between AV8SS and AI?

Do all of the NASA race series use the 13/13 rule?

Can you race the AI series and stay regional?

NO AV8SS is a new series not affiliated with NASA. I can't help with the NASA rules but you should be able to go to their website and find the answers you're looking for.

In regards to racing in AI. The regional points, and the east coast points are seperate. If you want to run for regional points only, that is fine. Plenty of guys will do just that. When the AIECC comes to your region, we will be running with the regular regional racers. After you have fulfilled your national liscense requirements, you are also welcome to run some of the other AIECC races, or any weekend in another region if you wish. I hope this helps.
